Reception Class 2024/25

Thank you for considering Christ the King Catholic Primary School for your child's education. At Christ the King, we aim to create a happy learning environment centred on play and discovery. We plan our curriculum and environment carefully to ensure that our children feel safe, secure and confident, whilst learning skills and knowledge in a way which is meaningful to them. During your child's time in Reception, they will take part in a variety of activities and play-based experiences, which aim to challenge, foster a love of learning and inspire their natural curiosity.
We offer two open sessions where Parents/ Carers can visit to find out about our wonderful, family-friendly school. Please call our school office on 0113 2579230 to secure your place.
Applications for our Reception class for September 2024 will open on 1st November 2023, closing on 15th January 2024. All applicants need to complete a supplementary information form which can be downloaded below or collected from our school office
Successful families will be informed via the LEA on 17th April 2024. The school will also contact all parents/carers directly after this date with further information regarding admissions and our welcome meetings. Please look out for this information.
We will be holding tours of the school on the following dates and times for any prospective parents who wish to visit prior to application. These tours are intended for parents/carers. Opportunities for children the setting will be arranged once a place is secured in April 2024.
Tour 1: Tuesday 7th November 2023 at 9.30am
Tour 2: Thursday 9th November 2023 at 1.30pm
